This policy explains what Forensic Roofing Sciences LLC collects through forensicroofingsciences.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: [email protected] or 952.220.9026.

What we collect

• Request forms. When you request an inspection, a report or portfolio access, we collect what you type: your name, phone number, property address and, if you provide them, email, company, number of buildings, property type, what prompted the request, preferred times and any details you add. We also record whether you checked the calls-and-texts consent box, the exact consent wording shown, the time and the page you were on.
• Storm Check. When you check an address, the address is sent to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder or to our address-suggestion provider to find its coordinates, and the coordinates are compared with public National Weather Service warning records. A free check does not store your name or contact details. If you unlock the full history, we store your name, phone, email, the address and its coordinates, and we email the summary to you.
• Technical information. Our form service records a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to limit abuse, your browser’s user-agent string, the referring page and any campaign tags in the link you followed. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a visitor is human.
• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and pages without cookies and without building a profile of you.

How we use it

To respond to your request, schedule and perform the inspection or assessment you asked for, send you what you asked for (such as a Storm Exposure Summary), keep records of our work, protect our forms from spam and abuse, and understand which pages are useful. If you checked the consent box, we may call or text you, including automated texts, about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can reply STOP at any time.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Form submissions are stored in a database hosted by Supabase, and the site is served by Cloudflare. Lead notifications are delivered to us by email through service providers that process the data on our behalf. Our sister firm, Forsman Roofing Solutions LLC, may see your request if you ask for repairs or replacement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for others’ marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep request records as long as we need them to serve you and to keep business records, and then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data request”. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
